Default rollerbeetle racing- now luck rather than skill

Now rollerbeetle racing is gonna be based on luck more than skill. Before if someone got echo and super 10-15 seconds before me, i could still win becuase I knew HOW TO USE THEM. The reason the top players are good is not because they just camped boxes, but because they know how to use them. Most box campers are not very good. Now people that aren't very good can beat the best racers just because they got lucky and got a super, while the better player didn't.

Also, although this doens't apply to most people, I will not have any defense against people that kd me jsut because of my high scores. Before I was usually able to still win, but now it will be nearly impossible.

So you reply with about the exact same reply in the other thread and thought the need to make an entire new thread? That mini-game has always been about luck and a bit of skill when to use your power-ups (just like Mario Kart ). I don't see the problem other then they stopped those box campers and made matches more break neck but we'll have to see.

No, now it's 25% luck, and the rest skill.
If you are lucky you may get all super bettles, but that's not likely to happen.
Now it's how it should have been.

The whole reason the boxes are there is for some random luck influence on the game.

Box camping doesn't always work. I personally can still rank in second or third vs box campers, sometimes if I'm lucky they won't get Super Rollerbeetle until I'm near the end legitimately and I still win.

Just play the normal way and you'll be loved (until the box campers call you a hacker).

LoL beetle racing is serious business. Anyways I think its much better this way I'm tired of the box campers coming back from last to steal my wins. Plus the game is pretty terrible anyways on a GW engine.

Funny how one of the worse box campers is posting about an adjustment that should have been made before the 1st event. Now all we need is Dragou to come here and voice his opinion.Least we wont see the same 4 people with 15 top 100 times this festival.Camping boxes didnt involve skill ...It involved knowledge.Knowledge of how to abuse the system for your own advantage. Huge difference.

That's a very big IF, you've thrown in there. Couple that with the "before" as you did, and you're admitting that winning in rollerbeetle racing has always depended a lot on luck. (What if you DIDN'T get echo & super?)

If you're truely skilled at racing, then you'll know how to use whatever power-ups you may get to the best advantage. And you'll figure out how to best play the game under the new "rules."

Btw I never got a mini roller, I wasn't on the top during the first event. It's about pride for me. It's awsome being #1 at something.

Never played, never intend to.

Just another reason why this game is heading down the shitter. Mini-games belong in RPG's.

Next they'll be adding fishing, and RED ENGINE GORED ENGINE GORED ENGINE GORED ENGINE GORED ENGINE GO houses. Bet who can shoot first, Ron Jeremy or the GW nerd! S/B 10k!

Let me get this straight...you're complaining because now the racing is fair, requires a little luck, a lot more skill and less cheating, thus allowing more people the opportunity to win a race and enjoy the event?

This is the way it sould have always been.

If you are lucky you will get something good, not just setting on an ever spawning box until you get it.
